With much voice around from some cosplay lovers, they want to make shinigami robes from bleach soul reaper, but don't know how to start, what pattern to use and what fabric to make.
Firstly, choose a certain measurement. How would you like to look, comfortably-loosing or body shaped? Don't leave out any size needed to make you look more suitable, including shoulder size, chest size, sleeve length, cuff size, hip size and even more detailed sizes you hope.
Secondly, go to your local fabric store, such as Jo-Ann Fabrics, where have loads of patterns for all knids of outfits and accessories.
Thirdly, Check the catalogs for Asian-themed patterns, and try to find a basic-looking kimono. Get some black, billowy fabric, for example: something synthetic might work well, and put your kimono together.
Lastly, after that, you can tweak things and replace things here and there and move things around.
